    Overview

    This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to SolidInvoice's hosted SaaS subscription plans. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to the terms outlined below. This policy does not apply to self-hosted installations, as those are distributed under an open-source license and do not involve any subscription fees paid to us.

    This policy applies to:

    • Cloud Subscriptions: Hosted SaaS plans from $19/month
    • Not Self-Hosted: Open-source downloads are free (no billing, no refunds needed)

    Subscription Billing

    Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually), depending on your selected plan. Billing and payment processing are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store or process credit card details; all payment information is handled securely by our payment processor.

    Secure Payment Processing

    We use Lemon Squeezy for payment processing. Your credit card details are never stored on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

    Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to your account until the billing period expires. Following expiration, your account may be downgraded, suspended, or converted to read-only mode depending on our service offering at that time.

    Refunds

    All subscription fees are non-refundable, including in situations where:

    • You decide to stop using the Service before the end of your billing cycle.
    • You fail to cancel your subscription before your renewal date.
    • You experience downtime or issues attributable to external providers, network conditions, or self-hosted misconfigurations.

    Refunds may only be issued if required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

    Consumer Protection Rights

    This policy does not affect your legal rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If local law requires refunds in certain circumstances, those rights remain in effect.

    Free Trials and Promotional Offers

    If we offer a free trial, subscription fees will begin automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand. If discounted or promotional pricing is offered, renewal will occur at the standard price unless otherwise stated.

    Free Trial Reminder

    Cancel before your trial ends to avoid being charged. You'll receive email reminders before your trial expires.

    Account Data After Cancellation

    After cancellation, you may request a data export within a reasonable timeframe. We may permanently delete data after a retention period as described in our Privacy Policy. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

    Your Data, Your Control

    Export all your invoices, clients, and data before cancelling. Data exports are available in standard formats (JSON, CSV) for easy migration.

    Self-Hosted Installations

    Self-hosted users are responsible for their own infrastructure, backups, data access, and security. This Refund & Cancellation Policy does not apply to self-hosted deployments as no SaaS billing occurs for those environments.
