Email verification

When you create a SolidInvoice account, a verification email is sent automatically. Confirming your address unlocks features that send emails to clients.

What's gated until you verify​

You can log in and use most of SolidInvoice right away. However, the following actions are disabled until your email is verified:

  • Sending invoices to clients
  • Sending quotes to clients
  • Activating recurring invoices
  • Sending payment reminders

A banner at the top of the page reminds you to verify while any of these features are unavailable.

Verify your email​

  1. Check your inbox for an email with the subject "Please Confirm your Email".
  2. Click the Confirm Email Address button inside. If the button doesn't work, copy the link beneath it and paste it into your browser.
  3. SolidInvoice confirms your address and redirects you to the login page with a success message.

The verification link expires after a short window. If yours has expired, complete your account setup again via the registration flow or ask your administrator to re-invite you.

What happens after verification​

The banner disappears and the gated features become available immediately. No page reload or logout is required.
